1. Introduction and General Terms

This Privacy Policy covers the processing of personal data by GoodFit Limited (“GoodFit”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy) when providing its services to its clients.


GoodFit is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the basis on which personal data we collect from you or from public sources will be processed by us. We will comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

GoodFit offers a business intelligence platform through which businesses (“users” or “you”) can obtain information to assist them in better marketing to potential customers and other who may be interested in their offering.

2. Information We Collect

GoodFit’s Website: If you contact us about our services or request a demo via the form we will collect information about you such as your email address and full name.

GoodFit’s Platform: In order to provide a client with access to our platform we collect email address and password of each individual authorised by the client to access the platform.

GoodFit’s Database: The data collected on individuals consists of:

  • Full Name.

   • Current & previous employment history.

   • Location.

   • Business Email.

In order to provide certain aspects of its services, GoodFit requires a business email address to be recorded against profiles in its database. Where GoodFit does not have the business email address of a profile, it may generate a business email address based on the email address structure understood to be implemented by the employer company.

The majority of the personal data we collect comes from publicly available sources such as business social networks and company websites. Information is also gathered from our users in the course of using GoodFit’s platform.

3. Grounds of Processing

GoodFit processes personal data when it is in our clients’ legitimate interest to do so. These interests are not overridden by your rights. Our clients’ legitimate interest include but is not limited to: being able to engage relevant B2B contacts in order to undertake forms of B2B marketing; identifying the individual that occupies a certain role within a company of interest; having an organised and up-to-date database of relevant B2B contacts.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share personal data with our clients as part of the offering of our services. Our clients may use the data to contact individuals at their business email address as well as through building audiences on social media platforms.

In making the data available to its clients, GoodFit is processing such data as a processor on behalf of the client. The client acts as the controller.

Moreover, Goodfit may share personal data with its third party suppliers, subcontractors and service providers such as data storage and cloud providers or service providers that assist us in carrying out our business activities.

5. Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights over the way we process personal data relating to you. We aim to comply without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.

  • You have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal data.

  • You have the right to object to our processing your personal data.

  • If we are relying on your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any personal data processing prior to such withdrawal, nor will it affect any personal data processing that we undertake in reliance on legal bases other than consent (such as legitimate interests).

  • You have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal data. Please contact us at privacy@goodfit.io with any questions you may have and before making a complaint so that we may answer any questions you have and attempt to assist you in resolving the basis for your complaint.

6. Data Retention

We will hold your personal data for as long as is necessary for the relevant purpose.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@goodfit.io. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

8. Security

We are committed to keeping your personal data secure from unauthorized access or disclosure. We will take all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent it. Our security measures include:
Encryption of sensitive data such as passwords.
Restricted access of data to employees and contractors.
Regular review of information collection processes in light of our internal security policies.

9. International Transfers

Even though GoodFit is a UK based business, due to the nature of our global nature and technologies required, your personal data might be transferred to the third party service provider that is located outside the EEA.
